Frequently Asked Questions

What does a typical camp day look like?

At STEAM-Verse, kids will dive into an action-packed day of hands-on learning where they spend 4.5 hours of their 6-hr camp day engaged in immersive STEAM activities, with dedicated time for check-in, lunch, and organized free time to ensure a balanced and enjoyable experience. (NEW PROJECTS / EXPERIENCES will EVERY WEEK)!  Camp hours: 9am -3pm

Will my child be using the computer all day?

No—unlike many "STEAM" programs, we embrace all facets of STEAM through collaborative, hands-on experiences. Campers spend very little time on computers, using them only for educational purposes.  For example, during our Movie-Making experience, students spend some time each day editing but most camps do not require computer time, we prefer to leave video game play for home.

What is the age range for campers?

Our camp is designed for campers 5-15.  Campers are divided into separate age groups (5-8, 9-12, & 13-15 yrs) for all projects and activities.

What are the camp fees, and what do they include?

Camp fees are $ 265 per week, which includes all materials.

Do you offer any discounts?

We're proud to offer a high-quality, competitive camp experiences that come with built-in savings for parents.  Many businesses offering similar camps, including those replicating Aspire original experiences charge $400-$600 per week. However, we integrate discounts, allowing parents to save 40%–50% when they camp with us!

What is the camper-to-staff ratio?

We can brag about some of the best teacher staff ratios around.

We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio of 10:1, ensuring personalized attention and supervision for every child.

What should my child bring to camp?

A packed lunch (if not participating in the lunch program)

A refillable water bottle

Sunscreen and a hat (optional)

Closed-toe shoes

What should my child NOT bring to camp?

We recommend leaving valuables, electronics, and toys at home to avoid loss or damage. Students are not permitted to use cell phones while at camp. However, students may call parents privately.

What happens if my child is sick or needs to miss a day?

If your child is sick, please keep them home to ensure the health and safety of all campers. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for missed days.

How can I contact the camp if I have questions or concerns?

You can reach us at 386-400-3044 or aspiresteamstudio@gmail.com. During camp hours, our on-site director is available to address immediate concerns.

How will you communicate updates or changes?

We communicate primarily via email and text alerts. Please ensure your contact information is up-to-date.

Movie-Making Projects

KIDS in AMERICA VIDEO (Tween Project)

This is just 1 of 4 projects our Amazing Tweens created during our #MovieMaking #Summercamp at #aspiresteamstudio.  It was July and we decided to celebrate our country by selecting an America-themed song. Not surprisingly, our tweens were unfamiliar with this "anthem" but found that they liked jamming to this oldie but goodie and put their creative juices together to create this gem! Go Gen Alpha!

BEATING the BULLIES (K-3 Project, 2018)

STEAMers created three projects but this was our K-3 group's original project created during our first Movie-Making camp 2018. We've become a lot more tech savvy since then, but the kids did an AMAZING job writing, directing, and starring in their own original movie short!
